Subscribing to the mailing list means you will get email updates on new articles (roughly on a monthly basis), and perhaps an occasional message if there are any changes to the site that I think are worth knowing about. You can see information in the Privacy Notice below about how your data is stored and used.
Joining the mailing list requires only your email address – no other information is asked for. Subscribers receive updates on new articles on a roughly monthly basis, and occasional information on any changes to the site.
I use a third-party provider The Newsletter Plugin to deliver email, embedded in the WordPress platform Corymbus is built from. Your email address is stored securely online by the Plugin on my hosting provider, Webfaction, and is not transferred or recorded offline. I do not sell or pass on your data to anybody else.
You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time through a link at the bottom of each email, or you can email me at simon (at) corymbus.co.uk to unsubscribe. By doing so, your email address will be deleted.
If there are any changes to how the mailing list is stored and processed, all subscribers will be informed.
Corymbus uses a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. This information is processed anonymously. I neither make nor allow Google to make any attempt to find out the identities of visitors to the website.
